Sits properly on a narrow face
I have given up on most rectangular frames because they slide down constantly. These do not. The bridge is narrower than it looks in the photographs, which for me is the whole point. Light enough that I forget I am wearing them until I go to push them up and there is nothing to push.

Excellent, once they had settled
Stiff out of the case â the arms had almost no give for the first week and left a mark behind my ears. That has completely gone now and they sit beautifully. Docking a star for that first week rather than for the frames themselves.

The shape does what I hoped
Bought these for the silhouette and they deliver it. Slightly bolder in person than on screen, which I was hoping for rather than worried about. The acetate has real depth to it when the light catches â it is not a flat black.

Beautiful, but wider than I expected
No complaints about how they are made â the finish is genuinely lovely and the hinges feel solid. They are just too wide for me and sit away from my temples. That is my face rather than the frame, but worth saying if you are between sizes.

Wore them every day this summer
Comfortable enough that they became the default pair rather than the special pair. That is the highest compliment I have for sunglasses. Still no loose screws and no scratches on the lenses, which I cannot say for the last three pairs I owned.

Understated, which is why I bought them
I wanted something I would not get bored of. These are plain in the good way â nothing about them shouts, and they go with everything I own. Would have liked a slightly deeper lens, but that is preference, not a fault.
